Wenjun Gu was a Ph.D. candidate at Center for Information and Communications Technology Research (CICTR) working under the supervision of W. L. Weiss Chair Professor, Dr. Mohsen Kavehrad. She received her bachelor's degree from Tianjin University, China. Her research interests include wireless and mobile networks, visible light communications and indoor optical positioning.
